Who We Are Looking For

The Fabrication Production Manager oversees the entire production process within the fabrication department, ensuring efficiency, safety, and adherence to quality standards. This role is responsible for managing staff, optimizing workflow, overseeing the use of equipment, and ensuring the timely production of fabricated goods. The manager will coordinate with other departments, such as engineering, procurement, and quality control, to meet production goals and maintain high standards of operational performance.


Your Day to Day

  • Work with Director to develop and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to meet production targets.

  • Allocate resources effectively, ensuring the timely delivery of materials and the efficient use of manpower.

  • Monitor and adjust production schedules in response to delays, equipment failures, or material shortages.

  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure all fabrication projects meet design specifications.

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of production staff, including fabricators, welders, and machinists.

  • Provide ongoing training to enhance team skills, ensuring compliance with safety standards and production techniques.

  • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement within the production team.

  • Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that all fabricated products meet company and customer specifications.

  • Work closely with the quality control department to monitor product standards and recommend improvements.

  • Identify and resolve production quality issues, implementing corrective actions where necessary.

  • Ensure that all fabrication equipment is properly maintained and in safe working order.

  • Coordinate with the Director of fabrication to perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.

  • Recommend equipment upgrades or new purchases to improve production capacity and efficiency.

  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards within the production facility.

  • Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and safety training for production staff.

  • Maintain documentation of safety incidents and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence.


Your Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment

  • Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques, including welding, cutting, bending, and machining.

  • Experience with production management systems and lean manufacturing principles.

  • Proficient in using computer-aided design (CAD) software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and other manufacturing software.

  • Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and quality control standards.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Your Work Environment

This position is in the home office, Henderson, Nevada in a fast-paced, high-pressure production environment, requiring strong decision-making skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.  Exposure to loud machinery, heavy equipment, and varying temperatures. May require standing for long periods and occasional lifting of materials or tools. Anticipated travel is minimal, estimated at a 5% level.

Pay: The annual base salary range for this position in Nevada is $70,000 – $90,000. For states not referenced here, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. EPS considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer or future pay increases.


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday.

  • Weekends as needed.

  • Henderson, NV 89011.
